The Physics Department would like to congratulate Assistant Professor Xiao Luo who was awarded an Early Career Research Program Award by the Department  of Energy for "Searching for New Physics with Advanced Liquid Argon Detector Capabilities at Neutrino Experiments".

The Department of Energy (DOE) announced the selection of 83 scientists from across the nation—including 27 from DOE’s national laboratories and 56 from U.S. universities—to receive funding for research as part of the DOE Office of Science’s Early Career Research Program. The program, now in its thirteenth year, is designed to bolster the nation’s scientific workforce by providing support to exceptional researchers during crucial early career years, when many scientists do their most formative work.
