Title: 25 Years of Science with the Chandra X-ray Observatory

Abstract: Since 1999, NASA’s Great Observatory the Chandra X-ray Observatory has provided pristine X-ray vision of the otherwise invisible high-energy Universe. Now in its 25th year of operation, Chandra continues its impact on the astrophysical community thanks to its combination of unprecedentedly sharp mirrors, coupled with an instrument suite comprising CCDs, microchannel plates, and dispersion gratings. I will give a broad overview of some of the many scientific contributions enabled by Chandra - from objects in our own solar system to those at the farthest reaches of the Universe.
