Stephen Yan

Biography

Stephen is a second-year graduate student in the Physics Department. As an undergraduate at Princeton, he studied random matrix models of quantum chaos and quantum gravity. Stephen started graduate school at UCSB in 2021.

Research

Interested in dynamical phases of quantum matter, quantum chaos, and possible connections to holography.
